Descriptive words: Dimensionally intricate and thought provoking

Artwork #1: The element I am focusing on or this painting is line. This painting consists of a complex use of line and an interesting arrangement of those lines. This gives the painting dimension and character. There are thick and thinner lines, straight and curvy/squiggly lines, while the back-round is soft; the bold vs. soft detailing really makes the painting pop.

Artwork #2: The element I will focus on in this painting is color. There are many different colors in this painting, but the use of browns, reds, and oranges helps the blues and greens to stand out. The use of complementary colors makes this painting very vibrant and pleasing to look at.

A Few of My Favorite Things

These are a few of my favorite things. My first favorite thing is my Marshall Headphones because I cant go anywhere without listening to music. My mood is highly affected by music which is why I listen to my favorite songs when walking to class; this helps me to get excited and ready to learn. My second favorite thing is my sketch book. This is because I love drawing and letting my thoughts flow from my brain to paper and creating something interesting. Drawing helps me to calm my mind and relax. My third favorite thing is my Buddah head essential oil diffuser. This is because coming back to my dorm after a long or stressful day I turn the diffuser on begin to feel more relaxed. My fourth favorite thing is my gold beaded bracelet that my Grammy had given to me on my 18th birthday. I wear it everyday because it reminds me of her. My final favorite thing is a picture from a photo booth in target from when I was a baby. My older brother and mom are in the picture with me and I take this picture to and from college whenever I go back home. Im big on family and this picture reminds me of the great family I have.
